Southlake Village Team Gearing Up To Celebrate National Long Term Care Week
In observance of National Long Term Care Week, May 10 to 16, 2015 Southlake Village Rehabilitation and Care Center will be celebrating with a variety of events meant to encourage residents, families and other close relatives to reach out to and visit with their loved ones and caregivers. In fact everyone can get into party mode because the American Health Care Association (AHCA) designated it as the week to “Bring on the Fiesta,” which is what we will do.
“Our staff wants to make this a special time of entertainment and education for all while focusing on bringing to life the week’s subtheme of Familia, Vida and Amor (Family, Life, Love)” said Aimee Middleton, Administrator “This is a special time. We want everyone to celebrate with residents and patients, enjoying the activities, and having fun with the theme.
The facility will hold several events to highlight Team Care week, including
*Show Me- Talent & Show and Tell Event Tuesday, May 12th at 1 p.m.
*Complimentary Mexican Coffee, Hot Chocolate and Smoothie Bar, May 12th from 12:30-3:30 p.m.
*Totally Tubular 80’s Fiesta, Thursday, May 14th 1-3 p.m. in the Southlake Village Town Hall
