Southlake Village Receives a Deficiency Free 2014 Nebraska Annual State Survey

On July 12, 2011 Vetter Senior Living of Elkhorn, NE opened Southeast Nebraska’s premier Skilled Rehabilitation Center -Southlake Village Rehabilitation and Care Center. Southlake Village opened with a mission to provide the citizens of Lincoln and the surrounding communities with a state-of-the-art facility where they could rehabilitate or live and receive world class care and service. Southlake Village achieves this through its multidisciplinary approach using nursing, life enrichment, dining, social services and spiritual care to care for the whole person: body, mind and spirit.
Southlake Village is licensed as a skilled nursing facility serving individuals in need of short-term rehabilitation for reasons such as joint replacements, cardiac surgeries, stroke and a variety of other medical needs. As a skilled nursing facility, Southlake Village also serves those needing long-term care and memory support care. Southlake Village is proud to serve its residents and patients with Registered Nurses 24 hours a day.
This mission of “Dignity in Life” is lived out daily, as the world class Southlake staff has cared for over 1900 residents in the past 3 years. Mr. Robert Eckery came to Southlake for rehab and then eventually needed long term care. Mr. Eckery states that, “I am very pleased with everything offered here and I have met so many new friends. The food choices I am always offered and the ones I can ask for are always great and the staff always smile and make my day. They are definitely fantastic.”
Southlake Village Rehabilitation and Care Center is proud to announce that during their 2014 Annual State of Nebraska Survey in October they received zero deficiencies. This is a great honor and testament to the care provided at Southlake Village.
Southlake Village is one of the 31 facilities owned or managed by the Vetter Senior Living (VSL) group of Elkhorn, Nebraska.
