Southlake Village Employees Earn Prestigious Vetter Senior Living Scholarship

Yamuna (Muna) Baral and Lassissi Salahou of Southlake Village Rehabilitation and Care Center have been each been awarded with a Vetter Senior Living scholarship. Each year Vetter Senior Living offers ten $1000 scholarships to current employees in order to help them further their educational goals.  Muna is currently enrolled at Bryan College of Health Sciences and is working towards her Bachelors in Nursing with an eventual goal of obtaining her Master’s Degree. Muna believes that this degree will help her as she continually gains knowledge to provide World Class care to the residents at Southlake Village and to help her in advancing her career. Ms. Baral has been with Vetter Senior Living for four years and is employed as a RN Charge Nurse. Lassissi is currently enrolled at Southeast Community College and is working towards his RN.  Mr. Salahou has been employed with Vetter Senior Living for eight years as a Certified Nursing Assistant and now an LPN Charge Nurse, he too looks forward to gaining knowledge to provide the best care to all those that he serves. The Southlake Village family is proud of Yamuna and Lassissi in being awarded with these prestigious scholarships.
