Southlake Village Honored with a 2014 Lincoln’s Choice Award

Southlake Village Rehabilitation and Care Center, Lincoln’s premier skilled rehabilitation community, has been honored with a prestigious 2014 Lincoln Journal Star Lincoln’s Choice Award in the category of Best Senior Living Facility.

The Lincoln’s Choice awards are nominated and voted on by the public. For 2014 Southlake Village place second, receiving the First Runner Up position in the category of Best Senior Living Facility.

In July 2014, Southlake Village will celebrate three years of caring for Lincoln and the surrounding communities. To date, they have provided nearly 2,000 individuals with rehabilitation, long term care and memory support services through a multidisciplinary approach using nursing, life enrichment, dining, social services and spiritual care to care for the whole person: body, mind and spirit.

Southlake Village is located at 9401 Andermatt Drive in Lincoln, Nebraska. Southlake Village is one of 31 facilities owned or managed by Vetter Senior Living (VSL) of Elkhorn, Nebraska. The administrator and staff develop plans to continuously improve their services and facility with support from the VSL network. Operating decisions are made locally to ensure that Southlake Village remains responsive to the needs of its residents and community.
